LoOP is a FuN SMS based service for Pakistan. It keeps you closer to your friends and family. You can get them together at one place using groups or you can find new people by searching and start chatting with them by just sending simple SMS messages.
And the best part is that its free and your phone no is never revealed to anyone, only your nickname is visible in every SMS you send.
Just with one SMS you can search for new people to talk to. Groups are to save you from managing long lists of friends for sending SMS. Just send a single SMS to your group on LoOp and that will be delivered to all of your friends.
Why to use LoOp?
Almost every Mobile Network today provides services like anonymous chat through SMS, but LoOp lets you do all this without having any kind of network restrictions. Also the SMS services provided by network operators soon become too costly.
Examples are Ufone SMS Buddies and Telenor Mobile Groups.
Moreover LoOp is something more than a simple SMS service. To avoid spaming the concept of groups is introduced instead of chatrooms. A group will only contain people approved by the group creator.

To register on LoOp please send SMS from your own no in the following format:
reg nickname age gender
For Example:
reg Ahmad 20 m
reg Anum 21 f
Please note that no special characters are allowed in Nicknames & They should be within 3-12 characters.
Use meaningful names; meaningless choices like web, hello or of any other product, company is not allowed.
Using abusive, offensive or vulgar nicknames can result in permenant ban.
Sorry, gender must be either male or female ;)
2. Anonymous Chatting:
Once you are registered you can start anonymous chatting with anyone like:
name message
For Example:
Salman hey how are you?
Maria what about today?
If you are getting abused, you can block anyone, See Blocking.
You can search for people to chat, See Search.
4. Creating/Using groups:
To create a new group send SMS like:
group create name type
For Example:
group create teens public
group create year3 private
Using offensive, abusive group names could result in ban.
Only public groups will appear in group searches, and any one can request owner to join them.
For private groups owner must invite everyone himself to join the group.
Each person can have at max 3 groups.
Groups are not free, to user groups you must have LoOp credit which is earned by sharing your credit.
You can use your LoOp credit to recharge any group and it will get 50msgs/credit.
To invite people in a group send SMS like:
groupname invite person
groupname invite no
For Example:
funx invite hamid
rockerz invite 0300142536x
For private groups you must invite people yourself.
To join a group send SMS like:
groupname join
And to invite in a private group use:
groupname invite person
For Example:
masti join
xfun invite rabia
For public groups, when you join, owner will be alerted and you will be added if he accepts your request.
For private groups you cannot request to join, owner has to invite you first.
To talk in a group send SMS like:
groupname message
For Example:
yars or bhai kya ho raha ha?
funky dinner tonight?
To delete a group send SMS like:
groupname delete
For Example:
funkars delete
Please note that there's no recycle bin here, once a group is deleted its gone. So please make sure you really want to delete it first.
To transfer ownership send SMS like:
groupname owner OwnerNick
For Example:
frndz owner maha
To recharge a group send SMS like:
groupname load amount
For Example:
jigerz load 10
You can load any amount from 1 to 8 LoOp credit to a group, as long as you have the amount in your account.
Any member of group can load it, and messages are shared by all group users, so be sure to keep unwanted people out.
To know members of a group send SMS like:
groupname users
For Example:

3. Blocking/Unblocking:
Some times people could be annoying, but don't worry, you can always block/unblock them like:
block nick2block
unblock nick2unblock
For Example:
block tariq
unblock farah
When you block someone, he/she will recieve a text that you blocked him/her.
And on unblocking, the user would be notified that you have unblocked him/her.
4. Searching User/Groups:
To find new people to talk to, or new groups to join send SMS like:
search name age gender
search groups name
For Example:
1. search usman 21 m
2. search waqar
3. search * * m
4. search * 18
5. search groups fun
While searching you can omit some fields by using asteriks (*).
To search all people of age 18 see example 4.
To search all persons matching waqar, see example 2.
To search all male members, see example 3.
Group search is pretty simple, in example 5, it will display you names of groups matching fun.

5. Getting LoOp Credit:
Why to get LoOp credit?
Because you can send more than 25 messages daily
You can send messages to your groups
You can recharge your groups so users without credit can also participate
You get 40 SMS for each Rs
If you are registered from a Ufone No, Just simply share credit from your no to LoOp's no and you will get equal amount of LoOp Credit.
If you are not registered from Ufone's no, you can get credit by sending ufone card no of any amount like this to LoOp:

Warning, your account will get banned if you send a used or invalid card no.
To share your credit with someone send SMS like:

Even if your search is off, people that know your name can still SMS you. To block them see Blocking
To stop receiving SMS from LoOp use:
mute You will not receive any further SMS until you send SMS yourself to LoOp.
